Who we are
SmallStack AI publishes guides and tutorials about using AI tools in small businesses. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
Information you give us. If you email us or sign up for our list, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it to reply and — if you asked to be on the list — to send you new guides.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider and security service automatically log basic technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring page. This is used to keep the site running, diagnose problems, and block abuse.
We do not sell your personal information. We don’t share it with anyone except the service providers listed below, and only so they can operate the site.
Service providers
- Hostinger — website hosting and email
- Cloudflare — content delivery, DNS, and security filtering
Embedded content from other sites
Our guides may include embedded content — video walkthroughs, screenshots hosted elsewhere, code examples, or similar. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that other site directly. Those sites may collect data about you, set their own cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content — including linking it to your account if you’re logged in to them.
We don’t control what those services collect. Their own privacy policies apply.
Cookies
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Cloudflare may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies for security and performance.
- WordPress sets functional cookies for anyone logging in to administer the site. These aren’t set for ordinary visitors.
You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
How long we keep things
Email addresses are kept until you ask us to remove them. Server logs are retained by our providers on their own schedules, typically a matter of weeks.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by writing to [email protected]. You can also ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, or to delete it — just email us and we’ll take care of it.
Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights under laws such as the GDPR (Europe) or the CCPA (California), including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your information, and to object to certain processing. We honor these requests regardless of where you live.
Children
This site isn’t directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We’ll update this page if our practices change, and we’ll change the effective date at the top.
